most evo owners, around philly, wave. some don't. it could be the lack of a wing (in my case).

I get no love from the evo owners I see around me. In fact I barely even see any. I think I'm surrounded by a bunch of sti owners.

Its nice when someone with the same type of car says hello on the road with a nice peace sign. Owning a older but not a boring audi, I give props all the time but get nothing in return...I think newer audi owners dont get it nor do they care.

Here in San Diego, I see a lot of different exotic cars, and i always get waved at, from Ferrari's to WRXs. So far its cool, there's only been a couple of no-wavers. I second the club, my wife doesn't understand why we wave.

You just haven't felt the love yet...

Also, to date, the following numbers are evo's that were produced for US market:

VIII's

2003- 7112
2004- 1514
2005- 4099

IX's

2006- 1705

as opposed to

roughly 40,000 (actual statistic) altima's to be produced this year in the Smyrna, TN plant for the following states CA, CT, ME, MA, NJ, NY, RI, and VT. Keep in mind that there are also many, many more being produced to "meet demand" in Canton, MS.

the previous info can be found on the Nissan website, and Wikipedia.

Yeah usually when you drive around in a car with some sort of enthusiast following, owners will acknowledge each other.

Its definatly a cult thing haha. I always get a duece from another EVO owner in my area. Get them from the STIs too. I think just about every white Evo was sold in central Jesey. I know atleast 6 other Evos that I see in my area that are white.
