Helix HFC and still check engine
Sounds like your HFC is not working hard enough (reducing emissions) to prevent a code. Your HFC is now nothing more than a restriction within the exhaust.
An anti-fouler or other CEL elimination device will only mask the lack of emission reduction problem.
Go back to your stock CAT, get a new HFC, or run a TP with a CEL elimination device. Its up to you... just keep in mind your local laws, and emissions testing requirements, before making your hopefully last decision on your CAT.
Good Luck...

yeah that was the reason I went with a cat was in order to have some kind of emission control. I read the helix was the least restrictive but still should prevent emission issues....and the guy I bought it from said it is working great...no issues what so ever...now I am starting to wonder.
too be honest ignore it as that specific CEL ur getting does nothing negative to your car (except annoying u with that CEL light). i wouldnt stress, just get the rear o2 bung extended and ur golden. dont bother spending more money getting a test pipe unless ur on a quest for hp
I don't get it... buy a HFC that doesn't work and use a anti-fouler to eliminate the CEL. Why live with the restriction, just use a TP then.
If you want to pass emissions, and have good performance then replace your HFC with one that works. I purchased a used Random Tech HFC, and it works as it should with no CEL.
I would contact the person who you purchased your Helix HFC from, and try to get some of your money back.

reset the ECU 5 - 6 times. SES light would come back after 1 or 2 weeks.
go the mechanical fix and have been SES free fro a year
