Wow great pic's I bet you two are both ready to see who's faster.
I like how you got em both in black side by side I still prefer the looks of the Evo over the STI but I do have to admit it looks alot better than past wrx's.

Can you guys run them and let us know how they compare with regular Joe's behind the wheels not professional drivers? I'm sure everyone is interested in knowing.

 

In two weeks, we are running them at IRP. He has already been, and hasn't broken 13's yet. It was his first drag racing experience, and this is his first AWD car. I have several years of experience drag racing RWD blown or turbocharged cars, and I have several mods so I'll probably get better times. I will say this - his car feels faster than a stock Evo.

I'll keep you guys up to date, and will be sure to get plenty of track photos!

why didnt he get the gold wheels? did u drive the sti how does it feel compared to the evo. both those cars look like they wanna take off

 

the gold wheels is a trade mark that goes along with the blue body! althought gold would look good on the black too! nicee pics!

Any challenge races yet?? My friend Rob has the Blue one...haven't raced him yet (kind of unfair..since his is still bone stock) I'll wait...for now

Both are great looking cars; the STi looks a bit more "grown up" although I still prefer the look of the Evo. (Despite my obvious bias)

What has his initial assessment of his Scooby been? I'm curious to see if "that side" is as delighted with their cars as we are.

(I'm a previous Cobra and Z28 owner so I understand the beauty of cross-manufacturer rivalry.)

It is a great pic to compare the looks of the two. Unlike the earlier post, I actually was biased toward an STi for a long time. I chose the Evo for dynamics, but I like the Evo's look better now. It has grown on me.

Still kinda miss my S2000 on sunny days, thought...
