HP without boost in Evo IX
^ We do have low compression, but it's nothing terrible. 8.8:1. It's nothing that will yield gobs of horsepower, but it's nothing to be ashamed of.
To put it into perspective, my first car was a 1995 Honda Accord EX coupe. It had a 2.2-liter SOHC I-4 with VTEC and the same compression ratio. That engine made 140-150 hp stock (I forget the exact number). So you figure a slightly smaller engine that is 11 years newer with more modern technology and DOHC should at least be as good as that, if not better.
