Today was the day of the Rally event in the X Games... two Evolutions were registered in the event, neither one made it more than a lap without breaking down.
One hardly made it out of the gate before its' engine gave out.

A very disappointing start to this event...

 

Poor preparation for sure. Colin's crash was sick though.

That's a serious disappointment. I was expecting more out of this competition.

The evo's were yard darts over the jump also in the drivers meetings the evo drivers complained about the jump. I think it has to do with the motor rotation, similar to jumping a dirt bike.

 

its the X games. come on, who takes this seriously -.-

 

The exposure rally is getting from this is better than none at all.

 

That does suck. Who built these EVO's? Glad it wasn't us, having a bad day at any event sure does suck.

 

xgames rally is sponsored by Subaru...Subaru spent a TON of money for that sponsorship. I'd be willing to bet that they "made sure" that an Evo wouldn't have a chance. can you imagine if an Evo won a Subaru event?

 

the event was alrigh to watch. evos had a sh*tty showing. i didnt see them run, but in a subie sponsored event, you cant expect them to be strong teams esp. compared to all the STIs in the event. overall it was ok.. good exposure for rally, just wish it was more realistic. the commentators didnt know a damn thing. mccrae's roll was fun though
