Didn't Mitsubishi drop out of WRC?
Only private investors run Evos?

Punk stuff like X games

Is proceeded by a year long preperation in the Rally America series.

As stated already, the EVO was not ever intended to be a drag car, but was born to rally. It just happens to be good at drag racing, which anyone can get in a car and do. We just wanted to be different, I mean we call ourselves "Slowboy" we have to have some sense of humor eh?

For all those that support rally, thank you... and for any type of motorsports you enter from auto cross, rally cross, drag racing, time attack, drifting, etc... if you do it in an EVO - keep up the great work.

The Evo's are still very cometitive in group N. Additionally, when Mitsubishi Factory team was here in the US Rally series they DOMINATED. They just lost interest/no return on their investment.

In lower levels yes, I was speaking strictly in terms of the WRC. Hell evos are competitive in Canada andt they're not even street legal here. For a while Dodge was doing well too with their SRT-4 rally cars, I guess everyone has their day.

Actually Ford and Citroen are the two top leaders in WRC. LOL and the Ford focus model that is dominating isn't even sold in the US but I got a first hand look at one while on vacation in St.Lucia and it looks a lot like the new STI. And for that matter neither is the Citroen , But car and driver is saying we might see the Citroen in the US next year. Now here is the odd thing Mitsu has to stay with a 2.0 to be able to qualify for WRC and there new 4b11 is a 2.0, So maybe we will see the X on the circuit in a year or two.

4th place was still great especially after the Evo was wrecked from flipping end over end during the practice jump then rebuilt before the competition with limited funds. That whole chain of events represents alot. To me, rallying represents having *****.
