alignment and steering wheel position
I couldn't find what I was looking for via a search so this question: In the case of the Evo, is steering wheel position directly related to alignment? My wheel is off but the car doesn't seem to pull on way of the other.
Crap... It's not terribly off; what I've been telling myself is that the right spoke is positioned slightly higher when driving straight to offset for the crown of most roads. Sounds like that might not be the case...
Unless its REALLY off, you should be fine... but if it annoys you, find a good alignment place and have them take care of it. They'll probably either put it back to spec, or put it where you want it... if you're lowered or running coilovers, you might want to make sure they set everything up the way you want it.
If you're not sure what toe is, check this quick resource out: http://www.ozebiz.com.au/racetech/theory/align.html

Wrong...
..as long as the total toe is within specs steering wheel position doesn't make a bit of difference, unless it's way way off and then the car will turn one direction tighter than the other.
Let's say your front left toe is -.05 and right is .05. Your steering wheel will be off a tad but it won't eat your ties because the cross toe is "0". The closer you get the toe to zero and closer the cross toe gets to zero the more straight your steering wheel will be. However your rear toe can also play a factor in the adjustment. A good alignment shop will take care of that within minutes.
