I personally sell quite a large amount of items online. Out of Bidpay/PayPal/GC - Google Checkout blows them both out of the water. There are no hidden terms, or fees, and it is a straight up payment gateway. You either send invoices to people for them to pay the set amount, or integrate buy now buttons into your site, or integrate it into your e-commerce site. The funds do not just sit in a un-secure, non federally controlled fake account, like PayPal. They simply go straight to your bank account. Currently GC service is free. While paypal charges to accept payments with credit.
The only down side, is you cannot list on your ebay auctions "I accept Google Checkout." Why? Simple.. Because ebay sees Google checkout as a huge threat to PayPal, and being that ebay and paypal are now one.... Badda bing.
How do you avoid this? Simply put "Major Credit Accepted" and that is it.
FYI: I already gave this info to Mines. I am just relaying some of the info to others in case they are curious about it.
