As the title says i need some help deciding which exhaust to get...i was told by another member that the megan performs pretty much the same as the hks...i have an 03 Evo 8 with a drop in and an MBC...thanks.

LOL! But to your question. Get whatever the hell you want to buy.

 

Get the Megan. HKS is not 3" all the way, plus you really just pay alot more for a name. I bought mine used off a friend so it didn't matter.

 

if you want a full 3" exhaust from the DP to the muffler get either the Megan (from Zeus) or the XSPower from Ebay for $199.00 shipped. I've used both with great results.

If you want to keep your stock DP & cat and don't care for max power get the HKS Hi-Power. I've used this one also and it does neck down in two places.

Your car, your choice.

 

At your mod level, there won't be much difference in power. The HKS will be not be as loud as the Megan, but that's about the only difference.

 

dude HKS is mad JDM yo...but really get whatever fits your budget...I would get the Meagan

 

I have the hks Hi-power, and I make 603hp :-/ take it for a grain of salt, but im keeping it only because its quite compared to others I have had!

Yeah....if you got a real 3" exahaust, you would be at 605hp.

I had a HKS Carbon Ti on my last EVO and will probably get it again. It only tapers where it connects to the cat and it will probably rob me of .5hp....if that. I'd rather had a nice sounding and good qualtiy exhaust that is gonna last me.
