hey FWIW i got a megan o2 housing, dp, perrin hfc and greddy ti-c competition catback. i broke over 300whp with mbc to 23psi, fuel pump and chev 94 octane. and of course ER tune.

that will me my first wave of mods for now. next might be intake kit with upper and lower piping. and a "I HATE YOUR HONDA" sticker!

That sounds like a solid start. Maybe a test pipe instead of a HFC, but it is up to you. Also, check into O2 housing, it makes a huge difference.

^its totally up to your personal preference. theres multiple factors like sound, weight, price, fitment blah blah blah.

i went with greddy tic because it sound soo good IMO and it was a steal in the Market place. I looked into Perrin and Buschur as well...

make some evo friends in this forum and ask them to take you for a ride in their different set ups! thats what i did! plus they're awesome people!

^same reason i went with a high flow cat vs test pipe.

plus, running a greddy cat back without a silencer is loud enough. even louder if i went with a test pipe.

With normal bolt-ons... like 2 Hp. It's not much.

I have a MR 02 housing, Perrin DP and HFC, and a Greddy Ti-C.

Sounds great, and made a good amount of power after.

when it comes to exhaust its sooo personal preference.

when looking, just make sure the exaust is as straight through and a full 3" exhaust.

your gonna get the following responses:

AMS FTW
Buschur FTW
ETS FTW

I chose AMS, I love the sound, the Test Pipe really awakens the car and it sounded down right nasty....

I have a different thought as to many here. I decided first what I wanted to do with the car, then decided what shop i wanted to go with and then chose all of their parts....

Going with one company has a lot to be said for itself.

If your on a budget - try pickin up a used system that someone is sellin

FALSE

A Test Pipe will gain so much more power than 2, I gained closer to 15 when I switched from the AMS HFC to the AMS test pipe

Read the whole statment...... "With normal bolt-ons"

You will not make that much more HP between a test pipe and HFC if you don't have much else on the car.

^^ You will also pass emissions with a HFC, but you won't with a test pipe!

That's big for a lot of people!

But with the right tune you will always pass emissions. So where's this argument going?
