the tuning software is open source. why not just toggle the emissions control test to "pass"?
OBDII compliance doesnt spit out the exact particulants you emit, simply if your in compliance of the mandated levels. its "pass/fail".

I'm staring at some EOM billings and coresponding month-end reporting as it pertains to intrastate lumber sales (deep sea fishing vessles). Did you remember to file your excise taxes by the 18th? No boobies in sight.
I am no wiz with the tuning software, you might want to send a pm to any local tuners who know their evo's and see how its done.

Ryan is right, and any tuner worth paying for will take care of this for you.
BTW - the test pipe won't get you tons of power but it will open up the backpressure and you will hold boost much better. That is really my only regret in my mod path - I waited too long to remove my HFC.
*edit - I run a 3" Buschur TBE with a mid pipe muffler instead of a cat. You can put another full muffler up there (straight 3") to quiet it down even more. I hear double-Magnaflow is really quiet!

ok, I will say with normal evo bolt on mods you will gain about 10-15 from a test pipe.
at the time i had the typical mods
intercooler
pipes
tbe
cams
boost controller
simply your basic bolt on evo
swapped out the hfc for a test pipe and gained nearly 15....
It is the way to go for an exhaust and there are ways around passin emissions with test pipes. Unless 90% of the modded evo's swap out there exhaust to go to the emissions then swap it back which I highly doubt.
id rock the test pipe if I were you
