How many guys came from muscle to the evo
I had 96 LT1 Formula, 96 Cobra, I used to own 2 DSM's in between, so i knew evo will be nothing new to me when i get one, I love v8 plant but the weather/winter sucks! and i went with evo so i can have all season fun car, 4 door.
As far haters? I just ignore it.

^^ I know the fealing my dad still wont even drive in the evo, hes a die hard ford guy. The way i see it i like my muscle just as much as the next guy but i like technology too.
My dad has had dozens of fast cars, my uncles, even more. My dad drove the Evo one day, and had to change his under garments (figure of speach)
I had an 04 Silverado with a 5.3 litre V8, dumped flowmaster, intake, 1.5 LS, etc... It was a beast and loud like you wouldn't believe. I smoked many lesser vehicles. But an Evo was always my dream car, and I traded my truck in for her. Once in awhile I miss the rumble of that V8, but it's nice to have a car that would smoke it and get a lot more than 10 miles to the gallon. hehe
A Mustang 00 GT and 01 Z28 I was about to get an 03 Cobra, but after test driving it It just wasn't as fun as the Evo. Infact neither of the cars were as fun.

i had a 2002 trans am ws6 on the bottle and bolt ons before i went to the dark side. i still have a 67 camaro supercharged, tubbed, etc when i want to drive a "muscle car" it doesnt hadle well and drive pretty crappy but i love knowin that if i get the tires sticky (33X19.5) and use the trans brake she will pull the front tires...but i love my evo and will never look back to the ls1...
