How many guys came from muscle to the evo

I was just curious if i was the only one coming from a v8 to an evo. Most all of my buddies still have mustangs and camaros etc and i always catch s*** about buying a jap car. i usually just call em haters and remind them how they cant keep up with my track car or my daily.

3 v8 Mustangs one was a 302 (306) that my buddy and I built up as young men. Loved them. 1999 z-28 Camero with the SS ground effects and lS-1 with a bottle, intake, cams ect . That car was a blast

Yea i still have mine but its kind of takin the back burner after i got the evo. Theres nothing like being able to downshift at 50 mph and get loose. Im currently running a dss 331 with all the bolt ons. Those ls1's are amazing, its almost not fair how easy it is to make power.

Ha - hardly

My Ex...well one of them ZZ4 tweaked a bit.

Brother still runs a 98 Z28 w/LS6 motor. Believe me, I've heard it all...too bad they are slower and cannot track like the Evo.

I had a '75 Vette that was poor in the 1/4 mile (high 14's because of 3.22 gearing) but it had top end for days (155mph indicated, wound out), but my IX beats it in every category. I only miss the Vette because women seemed to like it better than my IX LOL. Chicks just don't dig my Evo for some reason...

I had a 76 - she was a bit faster to 110 than my brothers Z28 (12.8 LS1 with long tubes and whatnot (old motor)). Maybe by a half a car. Hard to get over a loby cam and open headers in the Vette. Vette def. had more show. But the Evo looks good also.

This is my first foreign car. I've always owned GM and modded them, but they were all 6's. I never owned or built up a serious muscle car. I remember the first time I test-drove my Evo in 2003. I was hooked and never looked back. This car is hard to beat.

I used to own a V8S4 and went to the evo. Big difference in power delivery. I miss the low end torque but dont miss the gas consumption

I had a 04 Black/Red 6speed GTO Pics on the link. Car was awesome but it reminded me too much of my ex G/Friend and I was bored with not having a japanese car.
