Why is it smaller then 3 in where it bolts to the cat?? What do most peopel do about this?? Has anyone has a 3 in flange put on, or is it even going to hurt anything?

I think that is the general complaint with the exhaust.I have it on my car and like it just fine. Some people don't but its all about personal preference.

It has a deeper sound to it.Not really loud at all.Of course if you combine any exhaust with other parts it could change the sound a bit.I have the basic bolt ons and I like it a lot!

because its designed to bolt up to the stock catalytic converter. any exhaust that says it can be used with the stock cat will neck down. there are alot of people who have had a 3inch flange welded on, as well as people who have also had the resonator taken out of the midpipe.

I LOVE it. On start up and rev, it's not a whole lot louder than stock. My GTI 1.8t had a cat, and a 2.5 in turboback, and it was louder. maybe not a WOT though.

At WOT......

One of my budies took the resonator out of his. I'm not though. I like the tone.
