stock s2000 hoods are aluminum, and they are decently light. Most carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) from reputable companies are just a tad bit lighter, some just weigh about the same. All dry carbon hoods are lighter than stock, but whether if they worth the 3-4k usd brand new is worth or not is something I don't know, because at most you'd save like 5lbs.
