Trying to find a Carbon Fiber Hood...

There was a thread about a guy in California that makes carbon fiber hoods... i thought is was something 3000gt... i wanted to get a quote for a hood...

Most CF hoods are heavier than stock. Don't waste the money.

That guy? He makes some killer looking hoods in paint-matching colors too. Cheaper than most of the other c/f makes, and supposedly his won't yellow after a year because he uses high-quality UV resistant clearcoat. I'm thinking about getting a hood from him as well, but it's something I'll do after performance mods & new wheels...

yep this is the guy... i thought his hood was lighter than stock but i am going to call today about it... it looks like he does very quality work...

isn't the RobiSpec hood like 1100 dollars? i sent him an email for a quote but i thought it was really expensive...

wow, that is a shock to me. i thought CF was always lighter. is the same true for s2k hoods? their hoods are damn light.

+1 for robispec, really high quality dry carbon hoods and trunks. Hoodpins come highly recomended for the hoods. Varis also makes really nice carbon stuff as well.
