Wierd feel when i shift...

I dont know if its just me or what but when ever i try to shift... its not a smooth transaction... usually neutral to 1 / 2 / 3. The shifter feels like its scraping on something. Is this normal.....?
Very rarely do i get a nice shift - when it just slides / fall into gear and not feel like its scratching something.

Also, sometimes when i get in my car and i try to go to Reverse... it wont go in... (different feel when you're trying to go to R from 5th... it doesnt slide down to 4th) I dont have it in gear when i park; i just usually use the hand brake cuz of the TT.

And yes i do have the clutch all the way in.

i fee that retarded shifting also. but our gear boxes arent the best (s2000 is the best IMO).

why would you go from 5th gear into reverse? i know a lot of people and cars that get their reverse locked out. just throw it into neutral, let go of the clutch, press it again, and throw it into reverse.

i installed solid shifter bushings and it helped out a lot since the stock ones are rubbery. i would try that since its pretty simple...

there is one other thing that i noticed made the tranny smoother... haha i took a 250 mile trip from southern california all the way up to central california and for some reason that made the tranny/shifts smoother... i guess it breaks in the tranny faster... i also heard if you use the MR tranny fluid that it is better than the oem 5 speed fluid...

Is the solid shifter bushings same as the base bushings or the under the hood one or is it diffrent?

Well good to know that it is normal... but i hate it so now i gotta fix it. Imma change the Base Bushings and Linkage Bushing since i found tuturials for them... Havent found anything for Solid Shifter Bushings.

Is Kartboy a good brand for bushings? and where can i get them?
