But, i drive the speed limit now and don't care

kite string works a 100X better to remove the double-sided tape then fishing line and floss..

i cant imagine someone using dental floss to get that off

i went wingless, 400.00 to fill and spray the trunk. the wing is for the younger crowd. as you get older i'm 36, its down right embarrasing. in real world driving i never noticed any difference, even over 100mph. dental floss will help get the emblems off(hot day or heatgun) but as far as the 2 sided tape that is a *****h

imho i think a wangan style wing looks better.. kind of a flat edge coming up at an angle off the trunk lid.

Went wingless for 3 days...it was a toss up.A never ending debate.Like people have pointed out w/o the wing its nice and low key, great sleeper effect. You also get visibility out the rear window. That was new.I did however notice the performance difference w/o it on.Car felt less "controlled" indeed. I didnt like the mess leftover after taking it off so I re-installed it. 3 days,2 scratches, and a roll of dbl sided tape later, its back on and stealing my gas.And Im again loving the wing where it is...on.If you want to remove it make sure you get an RS trunk or a rexspeed spoiler to cover the holes. Good luck in your decision.

Evo's wings are not a fashion statement . If all you do is 1/4 runs then being wingless is ok. Without wing Evo's become very dangerous at high speeds. Ive noticed a huge difference in control while doing wannabe wangan shi also get a vortex gen and evo 9 rear with Voltex rear diffuser.

am i thinking about putting it back on? yea... but i think the car looks just fine with it off and is more low key
I'll +1 to that

I do have to deal with the cops in California here so no wing has been a big plus in my book.

Wings just seem to invite trouble with the popo besides that seemingly every honda ricer lancer es trying to be an evo kid on the planet takes our wings and puts them through the ultimate disgrace by slapping them on rides not even your blind grandfather could appreciate.

Stereo systems so loud they blow chicks clothing right off...

i dont know if this is a bizarre case, but a buddy went wingless and actually got a good increase in his fuel mileage on the freeway from less drag. Wierd but makes a bit of sence seeing how the wing does create mega down force on the tail

I like the wingless look, but to me, form follows function

In all honesty, I think the wing is more form than function. The amount of drag it makes outweighs the amount of downforce it creates.
