Are you saying the lower left B bolt is hitting the accessory tensioner?

I think you need to swing it more clockwise. Did you get the big allen wrench in the hole to lock the tensioner out of the way?
Yea, the bottom left B bolt, when unscrewing it goes directly into the back of the tensioner. Whether the tensioner is unsprung or sprung.
It hits the housing. The only way to remove that is to remove the tensioner itself.

Stupid.

I agree.
The service manual skips so many key steps like this, and only gives you remove these parts in this sequence.
The tensioner is easily removed though.
