Please help accidentally put in 89 gas instead of premium

Question Please help accidentally put in 89 gas instead of premium

This will mess up my engine a big time?

Stay out of boost, put some octance additive in, and just ride it out. You should be fine, as long as your driving below 3000 rpms.

yeah..i think the octane booster you buy from autozone/pep boys should do the trick..

if your are really concerned about it, just drain your gas tank and refill. Or you could just ride it out, put some kind of gas additive (doesnt necessarily have to be octance booster) and take it easy. If anything, if you drive hard you could get some counts of knock and your car will pull timing.

it will be fine. don't go full WOT, but you'll have no problems reving to whatever you need to. don't drain the tank, don't try to keep the revs below 3000, just drive it normal - a few psi of boost.

Oh my god, NOOOHHH!! She's gonna blow captain!

Please dude, we put REGULAR (87) gas in them from factory. Then I beat them like it owes me money.

lol i tried that already for a car show cuz i had to much gas and wither it doesnt let it go through or the hose wasnt long enough and it was pretty long

Those things are worthless, unless you wanna use like 20 bottles.

Back to the topic. Drive slow, get the tank down to 3/4 full and fill up with race gas.

Just drive it nice (stay out of the moderate to high boost). Take this opportunity to see how high you can get your MPG.
