All the other hks catbacks i have seen dont look like that... not sure what to tell u about making it right though. I can say that your bumper will get burned with it set up like that. I would not run it too much if u can until u fix it or get a heat shield!

hmm being that i dont have the hks myself i cant really say. i just know my friends hks isnt like that. I can find out what test pipe/dp hes running.

I did check some pics of hks catbacks on here for u, and it seems that some of those guys catbacks look the sameway!! But trust me get a heat shield cause it will burn your bumper .

**also not sure if maybe it has to do with his being an 8 vs yours being a 9 (i think only the downpipe's r different but i cant remember forsure)

I have the megan exhaust that sits ALOT like yours does (they remade them and offered me the new version but i was too lazy to send it back), i was worried about the cf ones burning (since i seen the catback melted my bumper) but i have had a CF one for a while and its holding strong. I bought mine from lancershop

Here's my with the stock downpipe and cat HKS Hi-Power 30th anniversary(stainless)

All that I can think is that the test pipe might not be the correct link, I am putting an apexi downpipe and megan testpipe on tommorrow so I'll post some before and after shots

PlanoEvo - looks much longer, all i can think off is my test pipe is to short.... well if i would be able to get 2 3" exhoust flanges I would get lomger screws and try to put them between my DP and TP & TP and CB, what u guys think about that?

Maybe its me but those heat shields look terrible. Way to large and destroys the clean look of the bumper.
