Run 1 or 2 more psi with a tune and the torque should jump a bit. His gearing will allow him to stay in 4th longer but once you are in the meat of 5th you should stop his pull since the 8's 5th is quite tall.

Yea. No offense to Topspeed, but they have been getting a little shaky lately. I mean my friends Evo had everything done by them and hes making 750, but that was a while ago. As far as Forged goes they are just getting into Evos, but ive cruised with Sharief (the owner) in Dahelonga and hes a cool guy and has a KILLER 750hp 350Z. Also my friend Dylan (EB IX thats up there) is a tech there. Good guys, but not sure about their evo tuning abilites yet. I went to Dyno4mance in Calhoun and made 272 (dynodynamics) on 93 and when he did my 91 octane tune i only lost 20 hp, but it was a much smoother curve over my previous Jestr tune and didnt feel like i lost that much HP.

Maybe he has spent some additional time tuning with the EMS. Obviously there is a lot more he can do with the EMS compared to reflashing the stock ECU.

The torque def. looks a little low, I'm getting tuned at Topspeed this Friday with the mods in my sig. You and I are modded very closely minus the FMIC. I'll keep you posted with some #'s. I don't doubt Doug, he's tuned a handful of Evo's and he knows what he's doing. Did you ask him if your #'s seemed low? Were there a lot of cars getting tuned that day?

I was the first car there at 10am.

Doug said I had one of the strongest IX's on pump that he's tuned.

UPDATE: I'm having issues with my boost controller(Greddy Profec B). I think I need a new one. It's having trouble going over 22 psi. It's not consistent with boost tapers at all. It's switching over to low boost(14psi) and getting stuck on low boost. I'm just going to buy a Hallman tonight.

well the car he is talking about is mine. and what he prolly smelled was my brakes from all the brake boosting(i was metal to metal grinding after we were done)....first i put down 350whp and 330tq at 22psi and it was also 102 degrees in the shop.my numbers were lower than i expected. when juan got tuned( the guy who smelled somthing..lol j/k juan) it was 85 degree's or somthing close to that in the shop...second when i ran him is was at 22psi 93 oct. no meth, alky, race gas......juan i cant believe you though i was hiding spray from you..u know you would be the first person i would tell if i got it... we are in the same club no reason to try and bambousle you..lol.....man you really are distrough about this whole thing.
