HID bulbs

not sure if I'm in the right thread.

I have a headlight out on my 03.

I went to NAPA and they said that their list does not show HID's with any of the 03's. (Is that correct?) I need new ones just stock replacements nothing expensive, but good.

Does any one know where I can get them?

sorry in a hurry

Check this thread out. They guy is selling IIKDO HID kits, ballast, and bulbs. $55 shipped for HID bulb is pretty good deal. They also did a review on the kit and said it's pretty good.

The factory HID bulbs are D2S, last time I knew, local parts stores didn't sell them

I don't think any parts store like CSK, napa, and stuff like that sells HID bulbs. Autobacs, yes.

The direct replacement bulb is a HID-D2S bulb. Direct replacements are expensive, but in my view the only true way to go. Other people buy replacement HIDs with a "one size fits all" rubber boot.

The direct replacements are $100-$229 per bulb depending on where you get them and the quality.

Personally I am a Phillips or Osram Sylvania fan

Here is a link for the OE HID bulbs. Just in case you were curious about a price.
