That stinks that you have to get rid of the evo. there is no other car like it. I will tell you one thing though, when ever I see a nice fixed up G35 it always makes my head turn soo just really asses what you want. Good luck!

Sucks about having to sell it man. Not many people around here (Reno) have G35's due to the winters here. I used to see them all the time in Atlanta and knew a guy with a TT G35 very fast and with the work he put into it (full build, modded heads, turbos) it was a very reliable 700hp (500hp daily) car. He never had to do anything to it other than oil and diff fluid changes and that was over a few years.

Thanks to all you guys who have made positive comments!

Some of you people have made some pretty ignorant statements like when you get your G35 never race an Evo? Why is this statement necessary Im not a ricer and I know that a N/A G35 could never touch an Evo. I drive an 11 second evo right now so I think I know how quick our cars are.

Secondly I am NOT buying the G35 for performance reasons I happen to love the way it looks and when I do decide to TT the car it will just be alot more fun to drive!

I know how amazing the evo is ive spent more then 3 wonderful years with my baby modding her tracking her racing her...I loved every minute with my evo but its time to move on...Im a serious gearhead and love to buy a car mod it up enjoy it for awhile and get a NEW one !

For some reason I feel this isnt going to be the last Evo I own though

you know how many engines those guys go through? a TT VQ is not reliable.... well unless you're willing to build the engine.

yeah 3 years is a lot. I know what you mean...you always want change sooner or later.

I guess you can go right ahead and move on. But to a g35? really? Go find out how much it costs to TT it, and all the supporting mods you have to have before you do so. Do some accounting and get back with the numbers and you'll see what I mean.

take your wing off and no one will bother you man. Simple as that. Why dont you get a Z? The second you go from an evo to a G you will miss the power and you will want something else.

I go to one of the largest universities here in SoCal, and there are no hate for Evos here... Your G35 will not be reliable with the TT kit. It's a hit or miss when you install the TT kit. The engines can't take the hit when the turbos come on that hard.

I was thinking teh same thing and a TT G35 will eventually have ust as many problems as his EVO in time while boost. Screw some haters. If you enjoy your car, keep it. Or take some cash and buy a crappy daily to drive to school.

Good luck though. I sold my EVO and bought a 500whp Cobra. Had it for 3 months and sold it for my 9.

Listen everyone...I KNOW that the G35 does not perform anywhere near the EVO and I know it never will even with a TT kit installed so please stop telling me the performance wont be as good...

Im willing to sacrifice the amazing performance of the evo for a classier more luxurious daily driver hence why Im selling the Evo !!!
