May MT EVO article (U.S. EVO VIII?)

I like everything except the opening in the grill. Looks too much like a Pontiac Sunfire. But hell, if the U.S. spec has 270 hp and a 6 speed, I think I'll be able to overlook the grill.

yeah most definetly I would take an EVO VIII it doesn't look too bad and plus it's a step up from the OZ I have now.
When is the "EVO VIII" coming or rumored to be coming? Is that the model that might be here in 2003?
Can someone please give me so insight!!!

So as you can see, the above...or previous page, the nose of the Evo 8 is much similar to the current gen Galant and Diamante which leads me to believe that might be the shape we might get.

That Evo VIII drawing is a bit to stylized to get a real good grasp of what the finished product would look like though. It's still really similar to the VII shape with only the grill being the real big stand out difference...as for gold wheels...ew...to Scooby-ish.

I still want to see the huge headlights return. I loved the look of those, and it would save me the effort of custom fabricating giant foglights into the front bumper of my VII... That is when I GET a VII.

I honestly don't care what the US version looks like... EVO 7, EVO 8, 5 speed, 6 speed, etc... As long as it doesn't resemble that god aweful Imprezza, I'll take one in Blue, Silver, or Black please...

I dont think that front end is entirely accurate as there are no openings for the dinner plate foglights that are supposed to be part of the evo viii. I dont like that they took out the small left side duct on the hood, if that is in fact the hood they will use.

I think I like the car better without them.
