Buy it! $220 shipped is a great deal. I payed $350 shipped and it didn't include the licp. Just the uicp and the intake.

220 isn't a bad deal at all

two other options I'd take a look at

Buschur and ETS both make great products that have been proven in race applications

The Injen is. I have had no problems with my maf, nor did I have to make any modifications to it for the maf.

The intake pipe is heavy. That's the only bad thing about it imo.

thats good to hear. i thought they used a k&n air filter (at least my celica injen intake did).

to the op. if you are looking for performance you are better off with buying just a cone filter and get a licp.

I like my injen intake setup. Just make sure to get it tuned with your car. For $220 you can't beat it.

It's really quite pointless your just spending money for the looks. Look at the specs of the piping it's pretty much just as long as the stock icp and about same diameter as oppossed to buschur's or ams' that shorten the route of the piping for increased performance and larger diameter for better flow. Call ams or busschur the have specs of theirs then compair to the injen specs and you'lle see what I mean

Some guys don't want to go through the hassle of buying and installing a small battery kit or relocating the battery to the trunk. The Injen kit does more than make your engine bay shiny. Getting rid of those flex sections that eventually pop off is a good thing. Those flex sections blow up like balloons under boost after they are old and worn. There may be an increase in power/throttle response, maybe not. Depends on the mods you have. By itself, the kit may not make any improvements, but combine it with other mods and it will make a difference. All those little things add up after awhile.

Speed corps if you think that installing a mini battery tray is to difficult or demanding to optimize performance than you have no place modding let alone owning an evo go buy an escort and put a big wing on it

I was refering to most people, not myself. Most guys I've come accross only want to spend the bare minimum to make their evo faster. Don't make this personal and try to disrespect me. And what does an escort with a big wing have to do with anything? If your trying to be funny, I'm sure there are other forums for that.

I don't like the intake because its heavy and made of steel which will heat soak. Not sure about the I/C pipes or what they are made of but its either rubber or aluminum for me, SS has no place being an I/C pipe
