does any body know if mitsu dealers sell and install rear windshields for evo's, anyone know how much?

I know you can save a bunch of money if you install the basic lancer windshield without the wiper. I know there has been a post here somewhere. Some insurance companies don't have to pay for the rear under no deductible rules, just the front.

 

better to buy from someone other than a dealer

 

I run my own glass company and I do those for around $285 with tax. Thats including installation. I would definitely steer away from the dealer. Their glass alone probably cost $4-500.

 

when some dirtbag smashed out my back window...they tried to get me to pay $740 for an Evo back window...

So I just had a local glass company install a base lancer window for $250, all I had to do was take the wiper off. (The hose is just hanging in my trunk now though..not exactly sure what the best way to tie it off would be)
