I personally have a Pioneer AVIC-N3 in my Evo that I like, though I just installed the Alpine CDA-9885 in my truck and I really like that unit. It doesn't have all the options that the N3 has, but the interface is so clean and simple.

i have Kenwood KVT-819DVD and i love it. has a lot of customizable options and you can connect your ipod video to it and watch videos and whatnot. you can also add a lot of extras to it. i heard that the navigation for the pioneer's weren't that great because you would have to have the navigation dvd loaded in order to use it.

You can download "chunks" of map info from the DVD and then remove it. I have an ~30mile trip to work and it can get ~half of that. I'm not sure if that is good or not, just giving you something you might be able to compare to.

Yep, but I think new it would sell for closer to $300. I would have preferred going that route with a Z1 but $300 just to start the process never appealed to my wallet.

I might do this in the future but I have always had higher priorities. BTW - the Orbital guys are selling the last of their stock and getting out of the business, last I read.
