Can you tell..?

Can you tell..?

is there any way to tell if the evo is a GSR MR or SE through the VIN number? Thanks.

I would assume so. Or you could look at the manufactured date.

I think it may be hard to do with just the vin number but there should be visual ways to tell. SE Rims are the shiny polished looking rims while the MR ones are the dark grey BBSes. The MRs have the Bilstein shocks too (i think they are yellow) while the SE i believe has the KYBs. There may be ques in the interior too... i think the SE has red stitching the MR doesn't have.

lol yeah i know that guys. the thing is the car was stolen and stripped the interior and rims. the e-brake isnt carbon fiber so i kno its not an MR

Why don't u just check if it's 6 speed also. that could start you off with knowing if it's a MR or not
