Bone stock EVO IX MR with the nice tall cruiser gear here.
City driving I get ~18mpg
Mixed highway/light city driving ~20.5mpg if I baby it (no pulls, very little boost as needed to merge onto freeways, etc)
This is consistently the case for the last 4 - 5 tanks of 91 octane.

Gets BP Ultimate 93+
I get on 5 fills and calculations 19.34 miles per gallon
and driving upstate NY on highway miles doing around 75-80miles with occasional pulls to 130mph I get 25.04 miles per gallon. Occasional meaning one hard pull every 50 miles.
Hope this helps but I find that the average mpg hits it right on the money.

If you wanted to really run your fuel tank dry, I'm sure you could get 300 miles on a tank with all highway driving (on flat ground). You would have to stay out of boost. Our tanks are 14 gallons. If you went 300 miles on 14 gallons, then your MPG would be just under 21.5mpg. So, it's not impossible.
For me, I experience about 19-21.5 in and around town with casual driving (occasionally spirited). The best MPG I experienced was about 24.2mpg over about 200 miles. I had to drive really slow and consistent though, not fun!
Our cars can be pretty good on mpg, but if you constantly have your foot on the gas pedal then our cars can drink gas like V8's.
