sounds like trouble to me. Go through the proper channels and get it legal the right way.
Right hand drive is legal in the states btw.

I would at least find out the possible punishment for the crimes you are about to make before you actually make them. A little research will help your cause.

yep, they can take your car from you if they find out you swap VINs. Be careful.

Be careful, if you don't dot all the eyes and cross all your tee's; you could lose the car.

Like the others said, it will cost you your car if you get caught with switched VINs. There are a lot of steps required to legalize your car. I remember reading about this in Import Tuner about how companies have to go through all these different agencies with emissions crash testing and what not. Too much trouble if you ask me. GL.

If it is the one from modified car trader then I would be very careful as it might never NEVER be licansed.

No joke here - you may think its black and white but its more like being lucky.

Good luck - there's a reason why most of the pre evo 8s don't get registered legally. Don't try to do it yourself - you need someone like sun-international.com to help you. Not sure if they're still doing this.

Uhhhh drool....one of my favorite non-american cars.

If it wasn't anything but a Tommi Makkinen Evo I would say stop being a ricer just for RHD but the TME is an AMAZING machine.

Forgot to add that vin swapping is a federal offence and if caught, you can get prosecuted and imprisoned.. I mean in the end its a TME but are you willing to serve time for a car ?
