I don't know if you are referring to the Tein S-Tech springs but I read on here that they will actually blow out your stock bilsteins if you run them.I would say save your money and get coilovers. With coilovers you can adjust the ride height as you please but with lowering springs thats it.Just be patient. You will be much happier with coilovers in my opinion.

If you have an MR, you need MR specific springs made for the stock bilsteins. Otherwise you run the risk of blowing out the shocks. Also those springs aren't matched for the shocks either.

Evo 8 MR & IX MR ONLY S Tech F: 213
R: 291 F: 1.8"
R: .8"

those are the specs on the springs, but i mean, if there gonna blow the stock shocks, then its not worth it then, i guess the right choice would be just to keep saving for the coil overs

I got the TEIN S-Tech Springs on my EVO..

I bought them through vividracing here:

http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/20814

look at the specs.. i says it fits IX MR and yes.. I like them.. have them with my stock Bilstein shocks and I have pushed the car more than the avg JOE.. I have auto-X, Drag raced, STR etc etc.. and I have also lapped the Nürburgring with them.. and no complains here but yeah it def. does not compare to coilovers.. so if at this time coilovers dont agree with your wallet dont hesitate.. WORKS and SWIFTS are fine to.
