Yea my problem is when i am still, or the car is parked.
i thought that mini vent that is found in the front of the car on this type of hood should have been on the side where the intake is located. i know the picture is taken properly cause i see what side the steering wheel is on. any particular reason why it is on the opposite end?
That hood is CF he just painted it white.
I have the same one but raw CF
looks sweet, i like it painted.
hmm: thats weird -
I have the same ViS hood also, but my little mini vent is on the other side where the intake is.

I've been worried about the rain also, I've been putting a trash bag over the intake when it's parked to keep the rain off of the intake.
thx for the link, i'll have to try that outerwears doohicky..

I was also worried about the same problem, but after getting rained on and getting caught in storms here in Florida, I learned that nothing bad came from it. I didn't push the car hard while it was wet, and I do put a plastic bag over the filter if I'm parked out some where.
Also to add about the front vent on the passenger side... At first I hated it, I wish it was over the intake because it made more sense there, but after going 170+ in the car with 7 other EVO's besides me, when we pulled over and opened our hoods, my Mani was not letting as much heat as the other ones, as a matter of fact everyone was talking about how much colder the mani was, but it wasn't really all that much, but it was cooler under the hood, enough to not be able to see vapors rising out of mines and being able to look at theirs and see vapors rising, and they had stock heat shield and aftermarket ones as well.... Hmmm.....
I had to install hood pins because I got plenty of air under the hood, so much that it made my hood shake at 150+. So that air gets right into the intake, so it's no problem I see... Just wish they made a duel vents in the front
