Headlight "twitch"

Looked around and couldn't find anything on the subject. I've got a 03 evo 8 and I've got a weird issue with the passenger headlight constantly moving up and down by about 2 inches. It has to be some issue with the electronic height control but has anyone else come across this happening? Is it a issue with the motor or something else? Thoughts?

Its sounds like maybe something is not locked in place on the headlights leveler?Or maybe an electrical issue perhaps?I would try an electric shop.

Mine does the same thing. It will stop eventually, and it doesn't do it all the time, but I know exactly what your talking about.

is the actual bulb moving, or is the light pattern "flickering"? Flickering with the HID are common....but the bulb shouldn't actually be moving.

mine doid the same, go ahead and put it in the position you want and disconect the adjusting relay on the left of the wheel, that would stop the motor and keep ir from breaking and misaligning your headlights.

yea def the relay if its the height control going nutty on ya.

If its flickering then thats normal for HID's (like already said above)

bouncing!? then something in your headlights are loose or broken (also like someone said above)-- so i dont even know why i repeated it haha sorry

Mine does it too on the driver's side. It's only happened 3 times in 3 years, and it only lasts a couple of minutes. It's like the Evo version of an eye twitch, and I'm not going to worry about it unless it becomes frequent.

Must look wierd to oncoming traffic.
