universal brake booster?

I'm looking to replace my brake booster on my evo, and I was wondering if basically any mitsubishi brake booster would work? Looking at pics on ebay, they seem to look identical, and it would make more economic sense to just have a universal part like this. Any input?

Call autozone/oreillys/carquest/advanced and see if they have one available for you.

why not just get the evo one from the parts dept? or better yet from any junkyard since they're all filled with evos now.

Because I would rather buy a used one for $30 bucks or so instead of one from the dealer, which I can see being around $200.. doubt the junkyard thing would work
