Someone bought one a year or so ago its about 10 grand its not even worth it. You couldnt make a fake that works as well as the real one. That piece is all carbonfiber. You know how much it would cost you to make a copy lol. Sick with the stock one or buy a crazy JDM wing.

I like the car in the photo...if your end result will look something like that (for your build) I think it will look pretty badass. Granted it will stick out in bumper to bumper highway traffic.

OK. As far as people saying"it's made for a racecar and to work at street car speeds" you are right. What you aren't taking into consideration is that WRC rules allow for the wing to be bigger if it is mounted within X inches of the back glass than if it were mounted at the back of the trunk where there is better air flow.

So, Mitsubishi put it there to take advantage of the rules. On the street I'm pretty sure they don't govern wing size (unfortunately). People get too wrapped up in the "If they do it on a race car it must be good" idea and don't take the time to think that if race teams were not bound by rules they might not do it that way.

Bottom line it is hideous and you don't have the same rules governing wing size or location on the street.

wow...you're an idiot lol calling a fully built WRC rally car a street car? yeah...because all our cars are gutted, huge fenders, sequential trannies, and jump 50 ft in the air. they are NOTHING LIKE STREET CARS. just because they rally on tarmac doesn't mean it's a street car. they are running at triple digit speeds. what car is gonna do that everyday on the street? that wing is beautiful on the WRC car because it serves a purpose. on a street car it'll just look retarded.

dude let me help you here... the evo is a rally car . They even have the groupe for them ...They called "N".
get an evo put a rollcage in it, take out the unnecesery stuff. and you got the rally ready car. you might change te rims and tires.
Alots of evo and sti running like that in the rally. The rally cars have to be street legal to run in the rally. Only the groupe "A" cars dont have to. If i remember right, but maybe they have to too.
so keep that coments for yourself.
amazing how poor the knowlidge about these cars, here in the states.

::sigh:: some people's children. you know what i meant by rally car. i meant a fully built WRC rally car, LIKE THE ONE WE WERE TALKING ABOUT. that thing is NOT A STREET CAR. amazing how everything has to be spelled out to the letter because context clues and comprehension skills suck here in the states

it is a same gap between the rally car and the factory backed up WRC car.
by the way some rally guys using that wing on the they cars. I know one white in Portugal ,and it is not even groupe "A".

let me remind u why i respond to your comment:

so the answere is :
The Mitsubishi Evolution - Subaru STI etc.
no hard feeling. just make sure everyone is still remember our car heritage. And understand finally the evo is not a drag race car or highway bandit....
