Thumbs up

"Palma Red P85.

I wanted a total ECU replacement and need the data logging.

Erik"

I talked to Motec about the differences between the M4 & M48, they are both replacement ECU's and they will both datalog. The only real big difference is running 8 injectors instead of 4. Take a look at there web site http://www.motec.com/products/control.htm and check out the specs on each. Now Motec, I feel, is probably the best you can get. I have ran others out there (PMS, HKS). Cant wait to get it here!!!!

I just called my dealership and they are coming out with a EVO VIII in the middle of 2003 which will be 6spd and have the VR4 engine in it. Im thinking I will hold up for that.

I think your dealership is full of crap. Why would they put the VR4 engine in it, when the Evo has had the same series engine the entire time. Plus, the VIII isn't even out in Japan yet and they will have it long before the US.

Yes, you are correct, that was Makinen that moved to Subaru.

To: Fireball and MyEclipse00....

Most dealers are just blowing smoke hoping they will get a 350 hp vr-4...not a chance !! It's either going to be a 2.0 or 2.4, sometimes Mitsu changes the engine a little for the U.S., but it will be very close to being an "8" version.

The U.S. spec car will be around $30k no doubt.

Later guys !

I live in L.A. yes. I'll try to see my car come off the boat when it gets here. Hope I'll have time to make the trip

I hope French blue is a bit darker than the pics, but even if it isn't, it still looks great IMHO.

What part of Richmond are you from? I'm fr the West End Henrico. I have seen a Silver Lancer Evo 5 or 6 imported near Wendys and the United Artist Movie theater. I was wondering if that might of been you. Please reply back.

When I bought my Evo7 through them, there was no options available really. It was just "the car", but because I was one of the very 1st to purchase the car, I got the M48Pro ECU thrown in for free.

You will not be able to get the same deal now.

Besides the ECU, the options that come on the car is whatever options RalliArt UK sells the car with, since that's where we bought our car from.
(titanium turbo, etc... )
