Just finished installed a greddy turbo timer, and i am just wondering, when i turn off the car and take out the key; my radio turns off when i pull out key. Is this normal? just want to confirm if this is correct.

 

yup, i installed mine a couple weeks ago and when I pull the key out of the ignition my radio turns off and so does my valentine 1 radar. The only thing that is on is my timer counting down and the motor.

now my question is, when you lock your car with the stock alarm button, does your motor shut off even if it is counting down. Cuz mine does.

 

Hmm.. i will try it tomorrow. when my tt is on, i will just lock the door from the inside. anyone else has any experience on this issue. thank you in advance.

 

no problem. I can lock the door from the inside and then step out and leave the car with the turbo timer going and the doors locked. I was refering to the key fob button lock. Thanks in advance also when you do find out.

 

My radio doesn't turn off as well as my radar so what that means????

 

also have a Full Auto Greddy TT but mine does not turn off as I take the keys off in the ignition as the TT is counting down. I could lock the door via remote but as the TT finish counting down the door will unlock as the engine shuts off.

 

my apexi keeps the radio on, but from what I see the greddy turns off your radio
