Very true! DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I kept mine stock for 4 years, then one day I decided to buy a cat-back and a tune. 6 months later I have 8+k into it not including $100-$300 a week every week.

I have... NOTHING. yet. stock is boring. Looking to do intake, downpipe, and tune soon. That'll be enough for this year.

You just have to keep your goals in mind. Mine is a DD so it won't get the full treatment, at least until I can buy a cheap commuter or something. I bought mine with a tune, 3" DP and catback, MBC, and intake/hard IC piping. It dyno'd 330 whp at 23.5 psi and it's a blast to drive and should be reliable as all hell. At 70k it's still on the stock clutch and it grabs quite well. I'm pulling my boost gauge and 340 lph fuel pump (JayRacing) from my DSM partout to put in the EVO. While I'm doing the tbelt/water pump, I'm going to throw in some GSC S1's and retune it. VD shows 335 hp now with a little more aggressive tune and only 22 psi, so we'll see how she does afterwards. It's never been to a drag strip and probably never will go, hence why the stock clutch is still alive and kicking so well

Yea that's what I said You'll also need a boost controller and at least a Walbro 255 fuel pump+tune. By the time you feel the difference, you'll be just another "mod addict" like the rest of us

I put 7-8k in the evo already, and I don't feel like putting any more money into it. Guaranteed. The 7-8k consists of the 60k service, cosmetic, performance, etc.
