Of course, just because they are a legal street tire does not mean you wouldn't get pulled over anyways and have to explain to the cops the nice big "HOOSIER" white letters "no officer, just going up to the store tonight"
My car is actually out on the street from time to time with the QTP's on it. In corners it feels like your driving on a big sponge. However, I am not looking forward for the day when I do get pulled over and the officer says, "you know why I pulled you over?"....uhhhh..no officer I dont.

I just think it is pointless to have an AWD class at this event for slick tires and street tires. The fast AWD cars (including yourself if you wanted to) will most likely compete in the Q16. There will not be that many cars running in the slick AWD class to make it a fun competition IMO.

This is just my opinion. I am way excited about this event and can't wait to see everyone and their cars. Hopefully it is not way cold like the DSM shootout last year.

Thanks for the compliment. I see what your saying, but I think by the way the rules are set up now are perfect for this type of event (not just evos). You have a full out race class with full slicks. Then a class with a semi slick. Then Two classes for the street tires for the closer to stock setups. I think these event classes are good.
This should be a fun event. I cant wait to get back up there to see some of the evos in the ohio area again.

Looks to be a nice weekend, so I might have to take a ride over there too. I don't have any plans to race, but it sounds like it would be fun to just hang out and see all the cars and races.

The weather is suppose to be beautiful all weekend. Should make for a great day at the shop and at the race track.

I wish we had ONE freaking car of our own ready for it though. Still waiting on our black car to come back, if we get it it's going to be last minute. My RS still needs to be tuned for some race gas at high boost with all the new parts........

Going to be a good show.

Will see you at the shop on saturday , with my cylinder head in hand!!!!

Looks like its on for me 100% unless some work related issues arise.

Looking forward to seeing some animals on the dyno as well , are any of the pump gas beasts participating in the dyno shootout??
