2008 Buschur Racing Sport Compact Shootout
The weather is suppose to be beautiful all weekend. Should make for a great day at the shop and at the race track.
I wish we had ONE freaking car of our own ready for it though. Still waiting on our black car to come back, if we get it it's going to be last minute. My RS still needs to be tuned for some race gas at high boost with all the new parts........

I have a Suzuki.... 2 wheeled kind though.
Went up 5 dollars a barrel the past 2 days!
Well I'm surprised no one else has done this already, but I'd like to thank the guys at Buschur for putting on a great event.. with a decent turn out of cars.. I've never been to the DSM shoot-out so I don't know what it would be in comparison, but great event none the less.
And while I was there I met my personal goal of the day.. And that was hit 12's in my bone stock Evo 8, my very first time ever to a track, and my first manual car to boot!!
Here's the slip, or at least what it looks like:
R/T: .199
60: 1.898
330: 5.395
1/8: 8.311 @ 82.63mph
1000: 10.831
1/4: 12.952 @ 106.32!!!!
I couldn't get my 60' down any lower than that, I had a total of 3, 12 sec. passes and the one that surprised me the most is the one with a 2.0 60" which was a 12.992.
Basically bone stock 05 Evo 8 base GSR.. Only "up-grades" are a Cerametallic Stg. II clutch and a K&N drop-in. I also took out my seats, and spare. So basically I was a touch above a stock RS in weight.. But for my first time out to hit 12's when so many people said to me it couldn't be done, I'm happy!
Great event, and great track prepping... Even though they had to re-prep the track quite a few times because on every launch we were just ripping up that area!!
