what to buy

Hello all, I am new here and was wanting some honest opinions. My wife and I autoX a lot, and she is looking for a new car. We had a few Saturn Ion Redlines and loved them, but now she wants a turboed car instead of the supercharger.

She has narrowed it down to the evo9 or the sti. This will be her toy/weekend warrior. What do you all think the pro's and con's are with the evo9?

Thanks in advance for all you help.

click on "community" on the evom homepage, and then "evo general", and type in evo vs sti, you will find tons of topic that answer your question.
but I can tell you this, as far as handling performance goes, there is no "cons" with evo.

You'll know the answer once you test drive both cars. BTW, your wife has good tastes.

Between those two cars, there is no wrong choice. It will come down to personal preference based on a test drive. If this is a pure weekend warrior, then go with an Evo RS... that car was born to AutoX, you won't find a more single-minded performance car than that one! If she wants a DD, with a few ammenities, then she def needs a test drive.
