Glad to hear you and your GF ok.

Honestly i wouldn't even try to buy it back from them. Unless you got time and place to part it out and make some money on it.

Damage might not look all that bad right now, wait till you start taking fenders and other body panels. You will see that the structure of the car is gone now, i even guaranteed that your floor pan went a little. I know because i look at the evo that i have taken apart (pic below, and nothing from that evo is for sale). That car actually came from LA area too and only has 2,500 miles on it.

If ins would let you buy it for less then $4k then its worth it, other wise it will take a lot of time and space to part it out and make money. Just look around and you can find a nice one again.

looks kind of similar to yours:

let me guess you swived right really hard?

I hit a cat the other day just to avoid that... blood washes off... damage doesn't... Good thing your gf and you are just fine though, for sure!

I would so got with 135i. Those look good and performance seem reasonable. Kind of sounds funny when you tell someone that you have BMW 135i.

if it's a small critter...run it the fck over.

your safety is more important than theirs. words to live by and glad you and your gf are ok.

btw...if it's a deer, then by all means swerve.

Sorry for your loss (car) but this is a prime example that sometimes you should just hit the little fockers

I was just going to say that the red pinstriping is gay. Dont do that to the next one. Oh and glad you are ok, next time when you are going to fast on a offramp and the back end slides out dont hit the brakes.
