Last night on Speed they have an hour show of the Import Tuner Challenge. Red Evo 9 was one of the three cars. Look like the Evo gonna fly. It's also feature the PeakBoost top mount turbo kit. Looks like the Evo gonna kick some serious a$$.

 

It's on every Wed. at 10PM Eastern time on the Speed Channel.

 

I planned on watching but missed it because I was working on my car. Was it good? Why are they running a top mount?

 

They said it was an Evo R32...what the heck is that?

They put the evo up against a mini cooper and somthing else that I cant remember.. but what I do remeber is that I was thinking " Are they serious? "

The third car is a Ford Focus. Surely the other two teams can't seriously think they will have a chance on any of the track parts of the competition. They might have a chance on the non-track parts of the competition.

 

It's too bad South Park and Ultimate fighter is on at 10 on wed.......my tivo will only record 2 shows at once......

 

Yeah I saw some of the show. It was a Mini vs Evo vs Focus. I didn't see the end, but I'm sure the Evo dominated everything.

 

In my opinion, pitting the Evo against a Mini and a Focus is a bit of an insult to the Evo. But that's just my opinion.

 

It's gonna be a blood bath.

don't be too sure on the evo winning the track portions. In one of the previous seasons i remember a Honda Fit posting better lap times than the 700hp Skyline.

I had to laugh when the Seibon rep was saying how much lighter than stock thier carbon fiber products are.
