DONT DEAL WITH o6RSEvo (Mike is a SCAMMER)

I'm not sure if this is the forum where this belongs, if not, please move this thread to where it belongs.

Just about 1 month ago, I had my Seibon CF trunk and Rexspeed trunk lip for sale. about a few days after I put it up for sale, I got numerous calls from o6RSEvo (aka Mike, the scammer) telling me he wanted to come buy the trunk off of me.

Original post for items for sale: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=298624

He came by my house that sunday, checked out the trunk, liked it, and wanted to buy it. I uninstalled it right there and he was totally happy with it with ZERO complaints and paid me for the trunk which I believe was around $400.00. From before I had purchased a Rexspeed lip and attached it to the trunk with I would say LOTS of 3M tape. So, to save time, and avoid any damage to the CF trunk, I asked him if he would like to pay the $275 more which I was asking for and keep the lip on the trunk. He quickly replied, "Yes for sure! It looks sweet!, cant wait to install all this on my evo!" The money was an issue. He told me he only had an extra $100 with him, and that he would paypal me the $175 next friday (5 days later) when he "got paid". I dont know why I trusted him, but I did, he seemed like a good guy.

Friday comes and I get no call or payment. I wait till sunday which is exactly a week after he picked up everything and I call him, he asks me where I purchased the trunk since he had some type of issue with it about the CF not looking right or something of that nature. I give him the number to the store. I then ask him, can you make the payment today?, I really need the money. He says, ok.

2 more weeks go by, and I dont hear anything from him, I PM him online a few times, no answer. I then realize he is trying to scam me, so I find some of his threads online and try to communicate there, no communication whatsoever.

Today, I call him, and as soon as I tell him who I am, he hangs up on me and wont pickup anymore. Just thinking to myself, is $175 enough to ruin your manhood over? ruin your rep online? To me its not worth it, but hey, maybe to him it was.

So if anyone ever comes up with some type of business transaction, buying or selling, make sure it is not with him, he will definitely scam you and steal your money.

Phone number: (Private) I can offer it to anyone who has gotten scammed by him in the past or maybe in the future.

(Again, if this is not the right place to post this thread, please move it to the appropiate place)

Thank you for listening, and be careful out there, many thieves out there just like this one waiting to steal your money.

So there is no such thing as "trust" in this world anymore? I am usually a skeptical person, but this guy seemed somewhat trustworthy.

Even trustworthy people can be in a financial pinch. It sucks that he didn't pay you everything, but at least he gave you most of it. I say you walk, lesson learned.

File a police report. They'll be able to track him down using the phone # you have.

Hope it works out.
