Where I wish I could improve on some things, and the thought has crossed my mind to sell the evo, I could never pull the trigger. Now more money is going into the Evo

Partial Die-hard, and will keep after it is paid off. Although I would like a vehicle that has manual trans and cruise control. I drive enough as it is, i would like to have cruise control in my evo.

so your calling the evo cheap???
I just enjoy and car that is designed very well and not cheap and goes very fast and is very reasonably priced. If I wanted cheap I would have boght the cobalt!
and by the way just because you dont take corners at high speeds dont make you drive like an old lady. old lady's drive 10mph under the speed limit and take corners at 10mph. I do neither so...

Just because you want to drive like a little old lady and feel good a 1/4 mile at a time doesn't mean that is what Mitsu or their very smart and experienced car designers had in mind. The Evo is a supercar in compact sedan clothing, all you gotta do is upgrade your "wardrobe".

This is an Evo ENTHUSIAST forum, not forum for guys who slightly enjoy cheap and fast cars.

Your turn.

I used to drive a MBZ 430 CLK Cabriolet, BMW 330, Honda Civic Sedan SI in the past few years. Then I "moved" up in class to the Evo IX. Having a lot more fun.

You just answered your own question and agreed with me by using my quote in your response. Did you even read the quote you used?

Nothing says die hard Evo nut like an O.G. '03 with 104k on it, has had every single maintenance done exactly like it should, doesn't burn oil, capable of running low 12's gets used everyday, and now considering buying a RS to make into a full on beast!

Used to drool over the Evo 3's at the SCCA pro rallies back in the mid-90's. Then drooled over the 4's. Then 5's. Then I bought a gray market 5. Did some track days with it and loved it. Then got an 8 when they first came out in the states. Evo's rock.

I really like my Evo, and I'm a Subaru owner also. The feeling of driving the Evo makes me remember when I ride my motorcyle with the power delivery up to redline, and on 4 wheels!!! I think the Evo will be in my possesion for a long time
