Getting the alignment done usually tellls you if anything is bent or not. If something is bent, it is very hard to get it back to spec.

I hit a curb going way faster, prolly 45 or so, sideways then jumped onto the grass. At first the car didn't start but eventually did. I dented my rear right wheel(imagined not forged) and my alignment was thrown off. Try going at high speeds (safely on a private road) and pay attention to any wobble. I noticed a wobble so I tried to balance the wheel but was unsuccessful. I ended up replacing it.

I don't think you would need to buy a new wheel, cant you just get it properly balanced? I would think that can fix the problem, at least if it's a minor bent

I also curbed mine in the snow. Ended up replacing the wheel, the wheel bearings, and alignment. Still doesn't feel perfect to me, but had a couple shops look at it and they can't find anything else wrong. seems to track along grooves even more than new. maybe just my imagination tho : )

I would get a wheel alignment just to be on the safe side.Or at least get it checked out.

Well, just to add to the list. Chalk me up for stupid driving...
I was making a u-turn. I had the ACD set to Tarmac, it was raining kinda hard. I gave it a little gas, the tail kicked out of course and I the front left tire hard into the curb.
Probably around 15 mph.
My Lip was damaged and my wheel had some curb rash. Oh and the tire was cut up. Replaced the tires, replaced the lip and had the wheel fixed. The suspension took no damage whatsoever, the alignment was perfectly fine. I had it checked twice. Sears and Mitsubishi.
Suspension components are pretty strong.

You'll need an alignment for sure plus a new rim.
