I hit a curb going 20 or so
I was driving last night and the streets were wet because it was raining and ,since it was raining I couldnt see a curb coming up until a few secs before and I steered away but I still caught the back right wheel against the curb and it got some curb rash and now the wheel itself looks to be curved in every so slightly.....My question is after seeing that the control arms an everything look ok should an alignment be able to fix this or do I need something else done.

Do the alignment and have ALL of the suspension components checked out. Trust me you need to do this. To the naked eye you wont be able to tell if you messed certain things up. Just take it to someone that knows what to look for or if you are mechanically inclined to check it yourself then do it. It also sounds like you are going to have to replace the wheel. I did the same thing to a GS-R I owned and did more damage than I thought once I took it to a friend for a once over. I looked underneath and everything "looked" fine and it wasnt.
Hopefully this isnt the case with you though.GL

My right rear wheel hit a curb sideways 1 year ago when I was messing around in the snow. The car actually went over the curb. All it did was make a slight bent in the lip of the rim. I was spinning around doing donuts in the snow and wasn't aware of the median. (trust me I will never do that again!) I hit it pretty hard, i'm not sure of the force but it was probably over 20 mph. I immediately brought it to an alignment shop and everything turned out fine. I had three shops look over the suspension and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
The problem is that evo suspensions are made out of aluminum and the slightest force can make it bend. Guys who track their cars hard probably don't even know that their suspension might be slightly bent. THe nice thing about the evo is that the suspension is also fully adjustable so if you were to knock it out of whack you can easily compensate for it. My toe is zero all around with negative 2 camber up from and negative 1 in the rear. The cross toe is zero front and rear.
Your suspension should be fine but I would definitely get it checked out.
