i've searched and all i could find was posts for the lancer. i have a 04 evo rs and my headlights really suck, so i want to put halo's into it. what would i have to do? how much am i looking at? who can do it?

 

Your an idot. Or theres something wrong with your car. I've owned both an 05 and 06 rs's and they have better lights than my friends MR w/ hids.

PS: Halos are for Big Mexican Women, BMW's. OR ricers, and becides you cant see $#!T with them if they're made for you.

 

uhm the hell are you talking about?...theres no way in hell halogen headlights will ever be better then hid..in light spread and intensity..if it appears the RS's halogen headlights light up the road better then your friends MR's hids..adjust his low beam headlight(the headlight level on the hids sits very low from factory)..you have the nerve to call him an idiot but yet youre the one who better matches that description

either get different higher wattage bulbs and adjust the headlights up a bit higher.. or by HID kit..

There was actually a guy on here that did a halo conversion to his headlights. Not sure how he did it as i stopped following the thread.

 

So let me get this straight. You are complaining that your RS headlights are not bright enough so you want halos? Do you mean HIDs? Halos will do nothing for light output..

Look in the for sale section. I am sure there a few people selling HID kits. Check out the vendor listings too..

 

Just saying, adding "halos" isn't going to help the light out put. You should let bmw stick to the halo/angel eyes. Your best bet is to pick up a HID kit if you want better light output.

 

that crackerjack guy is so funny. if you dont realize your wing is pretty ricey. hence the RS model with no wing. so nice rice.

have you done the conversion yet ? also . which bulbs are in the RS (stock numbers off the bulb) ? and do you want a wing for your car ,,, I have an extra ....

 

Its OEM, talk to Mitsu if you want to throw your opinion out there. Im sure they've gotten to where they are today from comments from people like yourself. They might even take up your Halo light idea...or just kick you to the street like everyone is doing here.
