exhuast install question

exhuast install question

why wont the springs on the bolts for the downpipe fit into the 02 housing? i tighten the downpipe and the springs just wiggling around.

Spray a little WD-40 on the bolts/springs before installing. Usually a little bit of rust makes it difficult to tighten.

I had the same problem with a no name downpipe I bought

my issue was that the the bolt holes on the dp flange were too skinny...and the spring bolts have a little lip on them right after the threading...the lip didn't fit all the way through the flange holes and it wouldn't tighten down all the way

I just grinded the lip off the spring bolts
